Microsoft mum on Apple connection to its new retail hires

Despite unconfirmed reports that Microsoft Corp. is recruiting Apple Store employees for its new retail stores, the software maker was evasive about any Apple connection, saying its "goal is to hire the best of the best in the retail industry."

Microsoft to forbid VoIP, rival stores at mobile market

VoIP applications will be forbidden from Microsoft's Windows MarketPlace for Mobile store, along with programs that are larger than 10MB or that change the default browser on a device.

Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.
