Rise of the machines: Robot helicopter, mechanical ape to join forces?

Short-sighted scientists at Stanford University have taught a small computer-controlled robot helicopter to fly by imitating a skilled human pilot, not realizing the short distance between this move and the creation of killer cybernetic attack aircraft that will go mad and kill us all. In almost certainly related news, a mechanical gorilla that had been patiently waiting outside of a Maine flea market suddenly disappeared, presumably meeting up with its fellow autonomous machines to form a fearsome anti-human fighting force.
