Phishing Scams Rise as Banks Fail

As the economic crisis appears to peak, more banks will fail. This has experts predicting that new phishing scams will arise targeted at the customers of those banks, and the agencies helping those customers may be actually encouraging such attacks. For example, IceSave, the British arm of an Icelandic bank, failed last week, cutting off over 200,000 customers from their deposits. The UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme is coordinating refunds for those affected.

    It is now very alarming that the economic crisis that we are facing has already created lots of problem. The economy is slipping further into trouble. After several countries have seen banks fail, or in the case of Iceland – all of the banks failed. The stock exchange values keep dropping, faster than a payday loan can keep up with. There doesn't seem to be too much good news on the economic horizon, but it will get better. In the meantime, you can get a payday loan if you need one.
