BT promises broadband price cuts, announces Q3 profit |  Networking

British Telecommunications PLC (BT) will announce price cuts on its wholesale broadband services within the next two weeks, a company spokesman said Thursday.

The spokesman did not give details of the cuts, but said they will be "significant."

The company had been expected to announce details of the cuts at a news conference to report financial results for the third quarter ending Dec. 31 for its holding company, BT Group PLC.
