Report: Germany's T-Online to sell stake to Microsoft

German Internet company T-Online International AG is mulling the sale of a 24.9 percent stake in the company to Microsoft Corp. in a move to help its major shareholder, Deutsche Telekom AG (DT), reduce its mountain of debt, according to a report published Thursday by the highly respected German business magazine Capital. The magazine quoted unnamed sources.

DT spokesman Ulrich Lissek declined to comment on the rumored deal, saying the carrier "does not comment on speculation."
