Security of the WEP algorithm

March 28, 2003, 10:42 AM — A small research group in the Computer Science Division at the University of California, Berkeley identifies security flaws in the 802.11 security protocol (WEP) and recommends that anyone using an 802.11 wireless network not rely on WEP, and employ other measures to protect their wireless network.
