Investors shrug off RIM legal judgement

Research In Motion, Inc., (RIM) was recently dealt a potentially devastating blow when it was told that its flagship BlackBerry product violated another company's patents, and that RIM would have to stop selling the popular device. That ruling was stayed pending an appeal, however, and RIM's stock hasn't dipped catastrophically - indicating that the smart money believes that RIM will ultimately prevail.
