Cingular lags rivals in high-speed wireless data

With its acquisition of AT&T Wireless, Cingular is poised to become the U.S.'s biggest wireless carrier - but it probably won't enter the growing wireless broadband data market for another two years. That puts it behind its competition, though that lag may allow the company to learn from the mistakes of others.
