The open source Firefox browser has been downloaded over 10 million times in the month since it hit 1.0 status. During that same time, the market share of Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser has dipped below 90 percent for the first time in years.

Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.
