Firefox: One month, 10 million downloads

December 13, 2004, 10:33 AM — The open source Firefox browser has been downloaded over 10 million times in the month since it hit 1.0 status. During that same time, the market share of Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser has dipped below 90 percent for the first time in years.
