IBM, Siemens bid again on German IT project
IBM Corp. and Siemens AG are becoming familiar faces in the corridors of the German Defense Ministry in Berlin after having submitted their third bid on a mammoth IT modernization project for the country's armed forces.
"We received a bid from these two companies and are now reviewing it," a Defense Ministry spokesman said Wednesday. "We cannot comment on how long the review process will take or when the project will begin."
