October 20, 2005, 2:37 PM — In a bid to round out its SOA product portfolio, IBM has acquired Cambridge, MA-based DataPower Technology Inc. Robert LeBlanc, general manager of WebSphere at IBM, commented that the DataPower appliances will be used to improve the performance, security, and flow of business transactions through SOAs.
