Children's Hospital trims backup with disk-to-disk

November 10, 2005, 2:00 PM — Backup windows that spanned up to 18 hours causes, and a troubled pilot program of a virtual tape library technology led Children's Hospital in Boston to choose a disk-to-disk backup technology that removed Fibre Channel from the equation and put server backups on the LAN.
