Computerworld launches online Resource Centers

April 24, 2001, 01:37 PM —  Computerworld —

IDG's Computerworld, an information services company for the IT leader community, today announced new online Resource Centers. These new offerings provide the quickest, most efficient way for business and IT executives to research topic-specific IT news and analysis. Resource Centers offer a single location to access the award-winning editorial content of Computerworld, the newspaper for IT leaders, along with links to additional online tools and resources. Each of the 14 Resource Centers targets a specific IT topic, such as ASPs/outsourcing, data management, security, and storage.

"Today's IT decision-makers are struggling to find value-added resources to assist in developing strategies, making purchasing decisions, and delivering return on investment," said Alan Guibord, president, CEO and publisher of Computerworld. "Our online Resource Centers deliver the speed, utility and quality of data needed to meet this demand -- with easy-to-access information and tools focused on the hottest technology topics. In addition to news and analysis, each Resource Center offers discussion areas to share ideas and advice with peers and experts."

"Resource Centers represent the future of content sites on the Web," said Maryfran Johnson, editor in chief of Computerworld. "Our Resource Centers offer conveniently packaged content for time-pressed executives who require immediate access to in-depth information and analysis regarding a particular IT topic."
