Oracle Corp. announced that it has set up the first piece of its applications
hosting systems offering through a partnership with Qwest Communications International
Inc., a Denver-based Internet communications company.

The service, called Oracle Business OnLine, will allow companies to off-load the
management of enterprise applications by letting Oracle host them.

Under the new partnership, the applications will be housed at Qwest CyberCenters,
which are located throughout the U.S. Users would access the applications through
Qwest's Internet network.

"Through our relationship with Qwest we can ensure that customer will access
Business OnLine with unprecedented speed, security and reliability," said Chris
Russell, president of Business OnLine, in a statement.

The joint service will be available by the end of August.
