Autobytel sales rise, losses continue

Revenue for the latest quarter climbed, but losses continued for pioneering auto referral service Autobytel.com. Sales announced this week for the second quarter were $9.2 million, up from $5.4 million for the same period last year. The Irvine, Calif.-based company posted a net loss of $6 million for the second quarter, compared with a net loss of $3.1 million for the same period a year ago.
