SAN MATEO, Calif. -- Electronic procurement software provider Vsource Inc. ended its distribution and support partnership with Qwest Communications International Inc.

Vsource, which sells Virtual Source Network, an Internet procurement application, is looking for a national sales and support staff. Qwest was going to rely on its US West regional sales channel.

"Although we are disappointed, we will focus our efforts on developing our IBM alliance as well as pursuing other partners that will be better suited to support our business strategy," said Robert "Jay" McShirley, Vsource CEO, in a statement.
