Idiocy? You decide
IT team installs laser printers with special paper bin attachments -- they can accommodate 3,000 sheets of paper rather than the standard 1,000.
"Everything is working fine," says a pilot fish on the team. "Then one day a call comes in." Seems one printer is displaying a "Load tray with paper" message, but the user swears he's already loaded the tray.
Fish suggests turning the printer off, then back on. No go.
And you're sure you've completely closed the paper tray? fish asks.
"Of course I have," snarls the irritated user. "Do you think I'm some kind of idiot?"
So fish treks over to the user's building to see the problem firsthand.
"Sure enough, he has loaded the big tray with paper," says the fish. "He just didn't bother to remove the wrappers for the 500-sheet bundles."
