Valentine's Day is traditionally imagined as a holiday for romantics and smooth
operators, and geeks are traditionally imagined as, well, not romantics or smooth
operators. If pop culture is to be believed, only the cool kids were at the
dances with their sweeties, while the rest of us were at home playing video
games and avoiding love at all cost.
As with any stereotype, there's a germ of truth to this, but we know that geeks
