Will you miss the iGoogle homepage, and for those of us that will what are some alternatives?

I used to use it much like you do, but over the past year or so I've drifted away from it and tend to just log into Google, then use the tabs at the top of the page to go to google+, search, news, images, etc.  It isn't as handy as the iGoogle page though where everything is grouped for you (and by you).  Probably the best choice if you want to retain the single page with widgets, news feeds, and so on is Netvibes.  You can even set up panels for your Google Calendar and the Google News categories that you select.
