I think you nailed what happened to it when you mentioned the $300 cost. It wasn't just overpriced, it was grossly overpriced. Honestly, you could get a Nexus 4 for the same price. Google apparently thought better of it too, and pulled it off the market, at least temporarily, so they could add more features. I'm not sure when or if we will see it again. It did have a cool form factor, I'll give it that. I'll also give Google some props for giving people that pre-ordered it one for free when they decided to pull it. If nothing else, that helped ensure that it wasn't a PR disaster that could cause a loss of good will. I'd like to see it come back with Google TV integration and a lower price point.
