There seems to be a fair amount of buzz about Rackspace releasing OpenStack for private clouds. What's the big deal about it?

I think the big deal is that Rackspace is opening up what has a cloud platform for major companies like HP and Dell for use for smaller companies' private clouds. Here is an article with a bit of perspective on it:
