How can I disable text message previews on an iPhone?

I don't like how my message previews let anyone nearby see my messages. How can I disable this on an iPhone 4S?

You can disable the part where it displays the message preview so that people can't see your secrets, but it will still show the sender's name.

Settings>Notifications>Messages> Slide "Show Preview" to off > enjoy your stealth text notifications.
