How to update iPhone using iTunes?

ablake

I couldn’t update my iPhone to iOS 7 because I got an error message that it was unable to update, not enough available storage. Can I update through iTunes instead of going through and deleting a bunch of my stuff?

Connect your iPhone to your computer with a USB cable. iTunes should open, then choose your device (under “Devices”) in iTunes. Click on “check for update” and it should tell you if an update is available. If so, click “Download and Update” and go get a beer. Don’t disconnect the USB cable until the update is completed.
