I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 5 and now am unable to connect to Wi-Fi.

It's an iPhone 4 if that makes any difference.

Hi nrichmond,

You might also want to simply turn off your iPhone 4 and then turn it on to see if it connects. If that doesn't work then see this thread in the Apple Support community:

Wi-Fi won't connect after IOS 5 upgrade

"1. Side by side compare the network settings between the 2 iPads.
2. Try Renew Lease.
2. Try Forget This Network, Fully power off the iPad (hold top button until red slider). Restart iPad, go to Settings, Wifi, Other and enter the network name info."

Don't go and do anything crazy, like reset your phone to factory settings (which is what I did when I couldn't connect to wifi after upgrading to iOS 5). Instead, try this:

Go to settings/reset/reset network settings

This did the trick for me.
