The Wii U has been out for about 8 months now, and sales have not been good. Some figures I’ve seen suggest that the original Wii continues to outsell the Wii U even though Nintendo has cancelled most of the online services for the older system. At the same time, pre-orders for the PS4 and XBox One seem to be quite strong, and they won’t be on sale for at least another four months. What’s behind the slow sales of the Wii U?
