How to display metric ruler in PowerPoint?

How can I change the rulers that are on the top and side of the PowerPoint window to display metric measurements?

Select the file tab, then OPTIONS. Select ADVANCED>SHOW MEASUREMENTS IN UNITS OF, and select whatever unit of measurement you prefer.
