What is a good option for inventory control software?
Do any inventory control software suites stand out, or are they all pretty comparable for use by SMBs?

I would say go for JMD or Redbeam (one of my friend use this).

I've only been around two of the options - JDA and RedPrairie. Both will do the job. I recall that RedPrairie can be challenging to integrate with the company's other products, but has been been around for quite a while, is powerful and does the trick. It's more focused on large, enterprise customers, so I'm not sure how well it would be suited for SMB use. JDA I am less familiar with, and don't remember it all that well. I wish I had more to add, but it's been a while since I've been around this type of software.
