What's the best way to sync my work and home pc's?

I obviously don't want all my home files on my work computer as my home computer, and I'm looking for the easiest way to copy files I work on at the office to my computer at home so I will have a backup.

I use Dropbox, and it works pretty well. It even lets me copy files between my home PC and my iPad 2. By default, it creates a folder on each computer and then synchronizes the changes to those files to all the syncing devices. For my iPad 2, I just use a subfolder  within my Dropbox folder.
