How to zoom in on a portion of the screen Windows 8?

I know how to simply zoom in (Windows key and (+) key), but is there a way to only zoom in on a portion of the page, leaving the rest normally sized?

Just go to the start screen and type “magnifier” then click on it in the search results. In the magnifier window that comes up once you have do this, go to “views.” There you can select either “docked” or “lens” for partial screen magnification, and see which one you prefer.
