Install MintX-Color icons and theme in Linux Mint 17

Add the MintX-Color icons and theme to your Linux Mint 17

MintX-Color icons and theme offers nine different colors to spruce up your computer. Here's how you can install it in Ubuntu 14.04.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/icons

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install mintx-colors-icon

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/themes

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install mintx-colors-gtk-theme

According to Noobs Lab:

MintX Colors theme is a Gtk theme with 9 different colors, it also has Cinnamon version and it is under development. This theme is only available for Linux Mint 17 Qiana and won't work in Ubuntu 14.04/derivatives.

You can use Unity Tweak Tool, Gnome-tweak-tool or Ubuntu-Tweak to change themes/icons.
