Add multimedia codecs to your Linux Mint 17 computer


Here's how you can install multimedia codecs in Linux Mint 17. This will also install Microsoft's fonts.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following command then hit Enter:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
