Install Gis-Weather widget in Ubuntu 14.04

Add a customizable weather widget to your Ubuntu 14.04 desktop

Here's how you can install the Gis-Weather widget in Ubuntu 14.04. Gis-Weather widget is customizable and offers a detailed weather forecast for your local area.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/apps

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install gis-weather

According to Noobs Lab:

You can add as much location as you want and choose location by right-click + choose to display weather information on the widget. It allows you to change its appearance (background, icons, text), display on all desktops, lock position to the desktop and more customization can be done from its preferences.
