Install XBMC 13 in Linux Mint 16

Add XBMC 13 Gotham to your Linux Mint 16 computer

Here's how you can XBMC 13 in Linux Mint 16. XBMC lets you play a huge range of audio and video formats. You can also use it to stream media over your network.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install xbmc xbmc-bin

If you are using previous version of XBMC then you must uninstall that version otherwise it will break XBMC.
