Install Darktable 1.4.1 in Linux Mint 16

Add the Darktable photography application to your Linux Mint 16 computer


Here's how you can install the Darktable 1.4.1 photography workflow application in Linux Mint 16.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pmjdebruijn/darktable-release

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install darktable

Darktable is an open source photography workflow application and RAW developer. A virtual lighttable and darkroom for photographers. It manages your digital negatives in a database, lets you view them through a zoomable lighttable and enables you to develop raw images and enhance them.
