Install Firefox 22 in Linux

Add Firefox 22 to your Linux computer

Here's how you can install Firefox 22 in Linux.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.

For 32-bit systems:

wget -c ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/22.0/linux-i686/en-GB/firefox-22.0.tar.bz2

tar -xjvf firefox-22.0.tar.bz2

sudo sh firefox/run-mozilla.sh

For 64 bit systems:

wget -c ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/22.0/linux-x86_64/en-GB/firefox-22.0.tar.bz2

tar -xjvf firefox-22.0.tar.bz2

sudo sh firefox/run-mozilla.sh
