1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands, then hit Enter after each.

sudo service {mdm,gdm,lightdm,slim} stop

Use this command for 64 bit systems:

Use the rest of these commands for all systems:

sudo chmod +x NVIDIA-Linux-x86*-325.05.03.run

./NVIDIA-Linux-x86*-325.05.03.run
