App now available for iPhone owners who keep getting lost with Apple Maps

Our long national iPhone mapping nightmare is over. Praise the heavens, Google has released a new Google Maps app for iPhone owners.


Here's a video teaser from Google announcing the joyous occasion - Christmas has come early for iPhone owners who may be stuck on an uneven bridge somewhere or are walking around the middle of a park that doesn't exist:

Granted, that doesn't show much, but luckily the folks over at The Verge have posted a video, although the video is mainly B-roll footage provided by Google:

The upside of all of this is that we can finally stop griping about Apple Maps. Huzzah! Let's all try to figure out what Apple iPhone fans will complain about next. Wooooo!
