The science of guessing large numbers is easier than you think

The mad genius Vsauce has posted a video discussing the art of guessing large numbers. He starts by talking about how many photos have been taken since the invention of the photograph to about now.


It's a pretty big number, but getting to that number is more interesting, as he then delves into the mathematics and science behind the wisdom of crowds, and how connected we are to each other (via Facebook or other networks). Great stuff!

Now the big plan is to try and figure out how to win those jelly bean contests.
