Mars Rover sends messages home, prepares for next journey

NASA's Jet Propulsion laboratory has posted its weekly Mars Curiosity video update, giving viewers highlights of what it did this week.


Like all good tourists visiting a new destination, the rover sent back stored audio messages (one from the head of NASA, the other a song by, drove around a bit and took some very impressive panoramic photos of the scenery.

I'm not sure if next week we'll get a report from the road - at least the rover doesn't have anyone in the back seat going "Are we there yet?"
