Two puppets explain spam better than any technical article

Glove and Boots give an awesome history of the computer spam epidemic

The next time your mother, grandmother or third cousin on Facebook asks you for help on understanding what spam is, send them this video from the amazing team of Glove and Boots.

In this video, we get an amusing "history of spam" that pokes fun of the origins of misinformation in the days of communication, but at the end of the video we get a great discussion of Facebook spam techniques and where grandma, mom or third-cousin Fred can go to find out whether the email or Nigerian Prince request is legitimate or not.

You might think that most of your friends and family are knowledgeable about this stuff, but I'm still seeing many of these on my Facebook news feed to know that it's not the case.
