Furby is back to terrorize a new generation of children

Creepy robotic toy coming back to Japan in October

From the people over at Robot-Dreams.com, here's a Japanese video announcing the return of the Furby toy robot. The Furby, as you may recall, was a robot toy that took the world by storm in the late '90s and could eventually learn English over time.

According to this YouTube video, the new version will include more features, "interactivity and character", and it looks like smart phone connectivity or interaction will occur.

When the original Furby came out I was too old to own one myself, but now I have kids that I may want to freak out. Hopefully this will come to America soon. This blog post says the toy will be come to America on Sept. 15.Or I could just buy a Funzo.
