The world's best cat video crowned

People gather to award cat video creators; cats still non-plussed

While most of the country spent Labor Day weekend at barbecues, swimming at a lake or visiting a local country fair, a few thousand people spent time in Minneapolis at the "Internet Cat Video Festival."

Thousands entered, of course, but only one could win. And here it is.

This was a big deal, of course - the mainstream media like the Washington Post and The New York Times all covered this like it was the Oscars.

With such success for this festival, can the Internet Bacon Film Festival be far behind? Or the "Internet Guy Getting Hit in the Nuts Video Festival"?

Meanwhile, my cat is just wondering when I'm going to clean his litter box. I need to point my video camera at him more often.
