LEGO Lord of the Rings game trailer hits the Web

One plastic brick to rule them all - I mean, ring

Last week when I was putting together one of the new Lego Lord of the Rings sets for my son, I noticed a little logo on the box advertising the Lego Lord of the Rings video game, made by Traveller's Tales, which made all of the Lego Star Wars, Batman, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Harry Potter Lego games. I went, "Huh? Why haven't I seen a trailer yet?" Thankfully, that trailer is out today, as a preview for the E3 video game trade show next week.

It sounds like they're using audio dialogue from the Lord of the Rings movies, which is another huge bonus (Lego Batman 2 also features voice acting). The game is likely to come out in October 2012 according to some Internet reports, we should know more next week. All I can say is, "Shut up and take my money!" Traveller's Tales.
