If you grew up in the '60s or '70s, you likely owned (or had a friend who owned) a Fisher-Price record player, which played plastic records with kids songs like Old MacDonald.
Fast forward to today, in which the site Instructables has given do-it-yourselfers a way to create their own records using a CNC milling process. Anyway, that sounds like a lot of work, so let's just see this video, in which a guy has created a record that plays the Star Wars theme:
He also produced one with Stairway to Heaven, but I'm imagining that as this catches on, we'll see a whole bunch of other themes (like the Doctor Who theme, Mario Brothers, all those usual suspects).
