Digital poster that reacts when you kiss it

Japanese technology, of course (or a late April Fools' joke)

The problem with finding new technology videos that are cool right after April Fools' Day is the distinct possibility that the video is fake. But in this case, I think it's a real video (if it isn't, then the joke's on me). Here's a report from DigInfo TV that talks about an interactive poster that reacts with different images when a person gets close to it (including kissing the picture).

There's about a million different applications for this if it's not a joke, and of course you can probably think of all of the nasty ones. I'm not sure this would have a market beyond Japan, though, it seems that kissing a monitor in a public space wouldn't be very hygienic.
