The guys at Chaotic Moon Labs decided that using a Kinect-controlled skateboard just isn't bleeding edge enough. Instead, the company built a mind-reading skateboard that takes commands directly from your brain.
Using a Windows 8 based tablet from Samsung and a neuroheadset, the 800-watt electric skateboard takes commands from the brain while the rider visualizes their trajectory across the landscape. The headset not only controls the riders direction, but it can also control speed, just in case you have an "oh crap, I'm going too fast" moment as you careen down Lombard Street in San Francisco.
The real question here is whether or not Steve Wozniak would trade in his Segway for one of these things, and then start a Mind Controlled Skateboard Polo league. I'd sign up in a second.
