Even this fan-made Avengers trailer has me excited for May 4

Today brings 'Sweded', Japanese versions of Marvel superhero film trailer

As I wait patiently for the next 50 days to wind down so I can finally see "The Avengers" on the big screen, today I got to enjoy two new trailers of the film. First, the Japanese version of the trailer hit the Web, complete with some additional footage not-yet-seen, including an appearance by Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), the Heli-carrier and some space robots (Japanese love robots, after all):

Next up is the "Sweded" version of the trailer, created by YouTuber "bryanharley"; I had to look up the definition of "Sweded"; it's a term for fan-created film recreation (came from the movie "Be Kind Rewind"). Anyway, it's a bunch of fans re-creating the trailer shot-by-shot, but using whatever low-budget equipment and gear they can find (especially costumes and sets).

It actually holds up well - let's see if they Swede it further once the movie comes out.
