The End of the World as a PR/marketing campaign

This explains a lot about the 2012 Mayan hype…


This may be a little bit too "inside baseball" for regular readers, but the following is a very humorous video explaining the whole Mayan/2012/end-of-the-world thing, as if it was created by a corporate PR / marketing agency.

My favorite part was how they recruited "influential bloggers" and they showed a picture of Nostradamus. Because the dude would totally be a blogger if he was alive today.
