Lesson: Things work less well when they are colder

Our last Science Monday post for the day comes from our slingshot pal Joerg Sprave - normally his weekly video shows some kind of slingshot that the's constructed, but it was so cold outside this week (where he films), that he decided instead to show off the thermal energy properties of the rubber bands he uses for slingshots (plus he touts his new sponsor, heavy metal band Skull Hammer):

Like a lot of other things, the rubber starts working better if you warm it up.
