Old people, quit making fatigued, confused 'youth' buy iPhones and Androids! This must stop!

Not only that, 'youth' are absolutely overwhelmed by complex Androids

Generational news flash: According to a Nokia executive who apparently has his finger on the pulse of "youth" of today, young people are so tired of the iPhone, that they just keep buying them!

Here's Niels Munksgaard, director of Portfolio, Product Marketing & Sales at Nokia Entertainment Global, in an exclusive interview with Pocket-lint:

"What we see is that youth are pretty much fed up with iPhones. Everyone has the iPhone."

Old people, seriously, quit making "youth" purchase all those iPhones! Can't you see they're suffering? And while you're at it, old people, quit forcing "youth" to do all that texting! They would much rather be doing homework or helping around the house.

Sadly, this is just the tip of the sadistic smartphone iceberg, according to Munksgaard:

"Also, many are not happy with the complexity of Android and the lack of security."

No doubt, the Android is too complex for fragile young minds, what with all those buttons and apps and such. When you think about it, it's actually cruel to foist these complex devices on "youth" of today, who, as we all know, are overwhelmed by technology!

Personal example: Recently I couldn't figure out how to change some sound settings on my Droid smartphone. I callously manipulated my 15-year-old daughter into helping by asking, "Can you change this setting for me?" With furrowed brow, she labored over this burdensome task for what probably were the most agonizing and bewildering 10 seconds of her life. Overwhelmed with guilt, I later reported myself to Child Protective Services. My case will be heard on January 18.

Fortunately, Nokia is ready to come to the rescue of "youth" trapped in a stormy North Sea of smartphone dystopia:

"So we do increasingly see that the youth that wants to be on the cutting edge and try something new are turning to the Windows phone platform."
